Summer-y Beers of the Pacific Northwest
The Pacific Northwest is expansive, and for our first summer release we decided to offer an assortment of lighter styled beers from across the region. Our range of summer-y selections come from Anchorage, Alaska in the far North, into Bellingham, Washington and across Northern California from Winters to Sacramento. This is a testament to the range of styles possible to enjoy during a Pacific Northwest Summer. In the June assortment you will find a German styled Coastal Pilsner, an unfiltered Pale Ale, an Aztec Lager, and a fruit forward and hoppy IPA.
The June beer of the month release includes 2 each of 3 pints, and a 2-pack 12 oz selection in eco-friendly, “ready for the river” can formats with 8 cans total.
Salud!

Coastal Pilsner, Aslan Brewing Co. |

Location: Bellingham, Washington |
It feels good to support small, independent business owners, and Jack, Frank, and Joe are the epitome of such owners. Ten years in and these guys at Aslan Brewing Co. in Bellingham are still shining bright–crafting delicious beer from organic hops while using sustainable business practices. As they write in their description of this classically styled German Pilsner, “While not German, we prefer the flavor of Czech Saaz hops” - which is what they use, and you get all the zesty citrus bitterness on the finish that is so refreshing on a summer day. |
