Dubbed the “Tastemaker’s Top Tequila” by Forbes Magazine, Casa Dragones Joven is a small batch, limited edition, 100% Blue Agave Tequila, a master blend of silver tequila and extra aged tequila, rested in new American oak barrels for 5 years, for a complex, smooth taste that is perfect for sipping and pairing with food.
"This is a DP that shows the ripeness of the 2009 vintage yet remains full of energy. Gorgeous aromas of cream, apple, mango, honeysuckle, and chalk follow through to a full body and super fine, tight texture. Dense and agile. Vinous. It’s like a top grand cru white Burgundy. Think Batard-Montrachet. "- James Suckling
"There’s a subtle power to this graceful Champagne, which boasts a firm, crystalline frame of acidity married to the fine, satinlike mousse and notes of white raspberry, brioche and Earl Grey tea. Seamless through to the long finish of smoke and spice accents, this opens beautifully in the glass. Drink now through 2029." -Wine Spectator
Three 200ml bottles of the Single Barrel Rye, Bourbon, and Four Grain whiskeys.
Single Barrel Bourbon
KOVAL Distillery’s organic, single barrel bourbon has the requisite mash bill of at least 51% corn, but instead of the usual rye or wheat supplement, they have included one of the main cereals of Asia and Africa. Millet is a gluten-free ancient sustenance grain, and like corn, has a history of working in the spirits industry, albeit in Nepal, where it has long been celebrated as a libation of choice.
Tucked away in a charred new American oak barrel to age, millet and corn learn to complement each other, neither taking the lead. Out of the bottle, this duet opens with notes of mango chutney, while the millet renders a soft whisper of vanilla throughout. Then harmonizing, the grains sing with the sweetness of apricot custard. This pair finishes with peppery caramel, a diminuendo into a wisp of clove-spiked tobacco lingering on the tongue.
Small Batch. Single Barrel. Unfiltered. Heart cut. Organic.
Single Barrel Rye
Only the “heart cut” of the distillate, no “heads” or “tails.” Aged in new American oak from Minnesota. Grains sourced from a local organic farmer collective in the Midwest.
“This is no ordinary rye, because it doesn’t come from an ordinary distillery. [...] Despite being 100% rye grain, this whiskey is fresh and light [...] with a maple-y, candy corn entry and a kiss of spice on the “finish.”
— The Wall Street Journal
Unfiltered 100% Rye. Heart Cut. Single Barrel. Organic.
Single Barrel Four Grain
The Four Grain is distilled from a mash bill of oat, malted barley, rye, and wheat. This whiskey is aged in heavily charred new oak barrels from Minnesota and bottled single barrel at 94 proof. The four grains define its depth with a banana nose, creamy palate, and spicy finish. Only the “heart cut” of the distillate, no “heads” or “tails.” Grains sourced from a local organic farmer collective in the Midwest.
Small Batch. Single Barrel. Unfiltered. Heart cut. Organic.
Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé is truly remarkable for its highly expressive bouquet, stemming from very careful preservation of fresh fruit aromas during the wine making. Made with 100% Pinot Noir from 10 different "crus " (or villages), from the North and South areas of the Montagne de Reims, as well as the famous Cote de Bouzy. Grapes from carefully selected plots are meticulously sorted and de-stemmed before going into the vats, and the controlled maceration helps with the color extraction and the development of the full aromatic richness of the Pinot Noir.
Intensely fruity flavors, clean and slightly sharp, the wine opens to the sensation of freshly picked red berries: strawberries, Morello cherries, black currants and raspberries. The finish is supple and rounded.
Grand Siècle is made with a pinot noir and chardonnay blend, with the latter being slightly dominant. Twelve of the most prestigious villages supply these grapes; all of them classified at 100% Grands Crus such as Ambonnay, Verzenay, Mailly, Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Within the vineyards of these villages, only the very best plots are selected, as are the finest musts from the pressings. The blended wine is then aged during the second fermentation on the yeast for approximately five years.
It has a bright color, with a brilliant yellow hue. Its subtle aromas of honey, hazelnuts, grilled almonds and brioche, make this the perfect companion for refined dishes. It pairs just as well with poultry and truffles as it does with veal and morel mushrooms.
- St. George All Purpose Vodka 200ml - Soft and approachable, with a rich, round mouthfeel. There's no overt pear flavor, but the inclusion of pear distillate adds gently floral top notes and the impression of subtle sweetness on the finish.
- St George Green Chile Vodka 200ml - Think salsa fresca! Sweetly vegetal, savory, bright, with just a hint of heat.
- St George California Citrus Vodka 200ml - Astonishingly clear citrus flavor, genuinely tasting of both sour and sweet orange. Redolent of the whole citrus plant, with a focus on the bright peel characteristics. Tart almost lemony scent in the nose.
Veuve Clicquot partnered with Swedish artist Stina Persson, to create a limited edition offer for their prestige cuvée La Grande Dame. La Grande Dame 2006 is an exclusive blend of our eight classic Grands Crus: Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir (53%); Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for the Chardonnay (47%).
Light gold color. Complex nose, revealing turn of stone fruit fragrances, dried fruits, pastry discreet touch, gingerbread, mocha ... The mouth marries vinosity precision and freshness. Nice length. Opulent vintage, a great Grande Dame.
"The prestigious 2006 La Grande Dame is made from 47% Chardonnay and 53% Pinot Noir, and assembles the fruit of eight grand cru villages. Very intense and complex on the nose, this is a full-bodied, round, rich and mouth-filling, but also refined prestige cuvée; it reveals a fascinating purity, precision and freshness. The finish is long and complex, and shows a spicy minerality. There are coffee beans, bread and toast aromas in the aftertaste. This comes highly recommended."- Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
