The 2023 vintage celebrates our third edition of Glou d’Etat; a wine of diverse vineyards and grape varieties scattered throughout Northern California. Glou d’Etat is a light-bodied red wine crafted in a lively style inspired by some of our favorite European house wines. The final blend shows off a soulful yet unpretentious character, providing an easy-drinking experience that’s notably affordable for carefree sharing with friends. The grape clusters are left whole as fermentation begins by carbonic maceration. The elevated aromatics created through this process of winemaking highlights the purity of fruit present in each of the varieties that make up the final wine. Once carbonic maceration completes, the clusters
are crushed by foot before the final juice is moved to barrel where it rests briefly before bottling. This wine is ready to drink (Glou! Glou!) and best served slightly chilled.
Bright cherry, plum, cranberry, lavender, and earth tones. Fresh and lifted acidity with gentle tannins. 36% Valdiguié, 22% Mourvèdre, 18% Cinsault, 16% Grenache, 8% other
