Domaine des Comtes Lafon 2016 Volnay 1er Cru "Les Santenots du Milieu"

Very complex wine with red and black fruit aromas and flavors - red and black cherry, some blueberry - with floral notes of violets, forest floor. There are savory flavors - balsamic - and espresso. Pair with coq au vin, beef, game.  More powerful than most of the Volnays, it is a wine to keep for a long time (10 to 20 years).
