The Albariño for the Bico da Ran is grown in the Rías Baixas sub-zone of Val do Salnés. This zone is the lowest in elevation (< 300 meters below sea level) and is characterized by its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean (the closest of all five of the Rías Baixas sub-zones). 

Aromatic with citrus and a delicate herbaceousness.  On the palate it is refreshing and crisp, with layers of crunchy orchard fruit.  Granny Smith apple, citrus, minerality, with a hint of salinity, dense and crisp.
