With around 9millitres of spirit produced annually Glen Moray is one of Scotland’s largest Single Malt producers. Their robust fruity spirit style is captured in spades with this Single Cask. Just an absolutely remarkable whisky from this oft overlooked distillery. Nose: Warm and grain forward (fresh dra) with bright citrus (Meyer lemon zest), freshly sliced green apples (Granny Smith in particular) and even a hint of clove in the background. Palate: Continues to be grain forward with sweet malted barley and Maltesers up front before orchard fruits, honeycomb breakfast cereal, and light brown sugar enter. Finish: Long, lasting, and pleasantly drying with ongoing malted barley and orchard
