PlumpJack
Speare Central Coast Red Blend
$1 from every bottle purchased will go to the PlumpJack Foundation
Our store buyers select this blend to sell exclusively in The PlumpJack Group. This vintage, we found that a little bit of Cab goes a long way, but the Cab on its own didn't cut it. Blending the other varietals rounded out the palate, brought out more berry fruit and gives the wine a little spice. The wine should appeal to the Cab drinker but also for those looking for GSM style.
This year the blend is:
35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Petite Sirah, 25% Syrah, and 10% Zinfandel

Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne 375
A Champagne House is eventually judged on the quality of its Brut Non Vintage. It is in the making of such a wine that the true Art of Champagne blending reveals itself. Grapes from as many as 50 to 60 different Crus are used for the blending of Yellow Label. The predominance of Pinot Noir provides the core structure of Clicquot, while a touch of Meunier rounds out the blend. Chardonnay adds the elegance and finesse essential to a perfectly balanced wine.
"Light gold. Musky orchard fruits and dried fig on the mineral-accented nose. Fleshy and broad on the palate, offering smoky pear and nectarine flavors and a hint of honey. Finishes on a gently spicy note, with very good cling and a touch of bitter lemon pith. Things have definitely begun to turn around for this bottling, which had been lagging behind the winery's vintage offerings for some time."- Vinous Media

Southern Wine and Spirits
Roederer Estate Brut 375ml
Roederer Estate Brut, the first California sparkling wine produced by Champagne Louis Roederer, builds upon a 200-year tradition of fine winemaking that has made Roederer champagne among the most sought-after in the world.
Roederer's winemaking style is based on two elements: ownership of its own vineyards and the addition of oak-aged reserve wines to each year's blend or cuvee. All the grapes for the Anderson Valley wines are grown on the Estate.
Each year, the winemaker selects a portion of the best wines for aging in Center of France oak casks. Aged from one to three years, wines from this reserve cellar are added to the blend, creating a multi-vintage cuvee in the traditional Roederer style, known for its body, finesse and depth of flavor.
The Roederer Estate Brut debuted in October 1988, and has since established its reputation as one of California's premier sparklers, remaining true to the heritage of excellence and style of its French forebears.

"it has a fresh, open nose with pure fruit expression: crushed apples, pears and lemon peel mingle with touches of stone, flowers and toast. The medium-bodied palate offers a lovely dichotomy of toasty fruits with uplifted citrusy, minerally accents with a finely beaded mousse, and it finishes long and ultra fresh."
