‘Drinking Session, Fun Follower, Kukmin, EurekaSeoul Citra’

Established in 2013, this Korean-based brewery has begun making its way into the refrigerators of craft beer stores all over California. The Booth Brewing Company began regularly distributing their beers earlier this year and more recently have been brewing a variety of styles. Their fun labels draw you in, their beer leaves you wanting more. This month we showcase four different beers from this fun and innovative brewery.

On May 2013, The Booth Brewing Company started off as a small pizza pub in an alleyway located on Gyeonglidan Avenue in Seoul, Korea. Founders Heeyoon, Sunghoo and Daniel all wanted to create a “booth” or place where people, driven to change the world and their environment for the better, were able to gather and share their love for craft beer.

Since their humble beginning, The Booth broke industry boundaries common in Korea. They believed in creating a healthy and exciting drinking culture. In such a short period of time they have already hosted one of the largest beer festivals in Asia. They launched the first ever 100% refrigerated beer distribution system in Korea. In the span of just five years they have accomplished quite a lot. The Booth is credited with releasing the first and only pro-LGBTQ community beer in Korea. Giving back to their community and raising awareness has been a staple in the brewery’s history. Having so much success in Korea, The Booth decided it was time to expand into the United States. On May 2017, exactly four years after opening their doors, the brewery released their first beer on American soil from the newly operated brewery in Eureka. This made them the first Asian craft brewery to operate in the United States! The Booth throws beer events all over Northern California that are worthy of checking out. Visit their website for more information, but for now, sit back and enjoy all four of these tasty brews!
