g L’Étoile de Villegeorge is the second label, or range of Château de Villegeorge. This Haut-Médoc, certified Terra Vitis, is vinified solely in stainless steel tanks, unlike its big brother that spends one year in French oak barrels.

Each step of production is carefully adapted to each vineyard block. The soil, sub-soil, exposure to the elements and slope are all taken into account when making decisions on planting new vines.

Primarily a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with some vintages including small amounts of Petit Verdot. The nose is a bouquet of peonies plus a light dusting of pepper. This Bordeaux is packed with strawberries and raspberries, the fruit forward expression of the estate's terroir. It is soft and well-rounded with velvety tannins.
