Lepiane Nebbiolo


The elevage in 600 liter casks for 30 months followed by 20 months in bottle helps to soften and balance the acid and tannin which are notoriously abundant in Nebbiolo. This wine is a perfect example of California sunshine infused into an Italian varietal with ripe red fruit in the mouth and rounded chalky tannin.

Enjoy it now with braised short ribs, a platter of salami, or late summer caponata. Or, wait 10-15 years to experience the wine's more nuanced earthy side.
