Brasserie au Baron Noblesse Oblige 750ml
Reminder: We only ship beer within the state of California.
Its color is old gold, barely veiled, its head white, fine, and stable. The initial aroma offers a dance between hops and honey. Hops likely of American origin, initially showcasing floral notes, then exotic fruits and citrus. You really have to put your nose in the glass first to appreciate it. Once opened, the aroma becomes fermentary, rustic, centered on hay and farmyard notes, in keeping with the house yeast of Brasserie Au Baron. But the hops hold their own, and it's a true interplay of these aromas.
The initial texture on the palate is soft and silky, followed by a hoppy surge, both aromatic in continuity with the nose and powerfully bitter.
This herbaceous, fresh, and fruity bitterness unfolds on a bed of cereals topped with a touch of caramel. This beer plays on two levels: a crisp, clean crunch and a sharp, incisive bitterness.
The final sensation to remember is, beyond this endless bitterness, an impressive freshness and vivacity.
