Domaine Dujac Grand Cru Clos de la Roche 2021

Fruit from the lieu-dits of Les Froichots, Les Fremières, Monts Luisants, Les Chabiots and Clos de la Roche. 70% new oak.

"This wine is a contender for best in class and one of the very best of the vintage across all appellations. The colour is a fairly deep ruby hue, and the wine displays a lovely ripe plummy fruit with accents of mineral, cigar wrapper and earth on the nose. The texture is initially silky and approachable, but with time one sees that this is a powerful wine with lots of tannin behind that; it is a wine built for ageing. This wine has it all." 96 Points Decanter

"Deep-mid ruby. Ah, here is the intensity of fruit: sweet raspberry, black cherry and cassis. There’s much more volume here and the tannins and structure are much better integrated. Excellent length with lots going on." 17/20 Points Jancis Robinson
