From the Pouilly-Fumé appellation but now labeled as Vin de France, this wine was known as Blanc de Pouilly-Fumé until 2017. "Creamy and different. Then really tight and introverted on the finish. These Didier Dageuneau wines taste as though the yields were pretty low and the grapes were very concentrated. Cool and without obvious richness. Some real grip and obvious ageing potential." 17/20 Jancis Robinson 

The fruit here is multi-layered and very complex with some exotic notes in the nose, citrus aromatics and a hint of flint. The length of this wine is impressive and it's persistence is memorable. 

Louis-Benjamin is a force in both the vineyards and the cellars. If this is what we can expect from this young man after only a handful of solo vintages, we can only imagine the new heights to which the domaine will soar! Didier would be proud.
