Olivia Brion Taquine White Blend
Winemaker's Notes: The foundation of this beautiful white wine is the harmonious blend of two aromatic Italian Grape varietals and one incredible growing site for white wines. Falanghina and Cortese are both grown by second-generation farmers in the Clarksburg AVA on the Sacramento River Delta. This region is known for Chenin Blanc, another aromatic white. Falanghina has searing acidity and luscious white floral undertones. Cortese has an orange peel character that is tempered by a day on skins before pressing. This tiny bit of skin contact does not impact the color of the wine but does help give it an appealing textural quality that balances the abundance of citrus in Cortese. Together, these grapes blend to create a wine that is aromatic, bright, and thirst quenching. Just try to stop drinking this all summer long!
