This 100% Chenin Blanc from South Africa is an exceptionally limited release — only 20 cases imported. The 2024 Rall NOA Chenin Blanc is sourced from Kasteelberg and Riebeeksrivier vineyards, two sites known for producing high-impact, terroir-driven Chenin. Naturally fermented and matured separately in 3,000L neutral French oak and concrete, the components are blended and bottled after 10 months. The result is a wine that emphasizes purity, texture, and clear vineyard expression. A benchmark example of schist-grown South African Chenin Blanc, showing a restrained nose of hay, herbs, and yellow fruit. Bright acidity and subtle mineral grip deliver tension, depth, and vibrancy from start to finish. This 2024 release stands out as one of the most compelling NOA bottlings to date.
