The Bourgogne Blanc from Domaine Morey-Coffinet drinks like a young Chassagne Montrachet as the majority of the fruit originates from 1er Cru vineyards. It has fragrant aromas framed by linear minerality, and a lively finish.

Varietal: 100% Chardonnay. Cultivated according to biodynamic methods. Aged 10 months in oak barrels of 228 and 350 liters. Only 25% new oak.

Taste: This is a well balanced wine that has notes of pear, apple, lemon and hints at tropical fruits (pineapple). White floral accents and fresh minerality play a role along with a soft touch of oak to add body and richness.  The quality over-delivers given the humble price.
