It’s time! Our Maker’s barrel is here! “Separation Anxiety” is our second barrel with our new barrel team and it’s another great one!

Our barrel was bottled at 112.4 and the staves we selected were:
2 - Baked American Pure 2
2 - Seared French Cuvee
0 - Maker’s Mark 46
5 - Roasted French Mendiant
1 - Toasted French Spice

The resulting notes were…delicious!
Nose: A delicious sweetness with chocolate, berries and toasted oak
Palate: Silky mouthfeel. Classic brown sugar, more chocolate with a hint of applesauce
Finish: Medium long and savory

We tried 5 total combinations, but this one was the winner by far and it should tantalize your tastebuds!  Can’t wait to dive back into the finished product!
