Beloved by many, this is a red wine made of mostly Garnacha (85%) with about 12% Carignan and 3% Macabeo from around 4 hectares of 40-year old vines on clay and limestone vineyards in Montsant near Priorat. Everything is farmed organically with some biodynamic use as well. Grapes are hand harvested with spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, aging for 11 months. Low sulfur use at bottling with no fining or filtering. A beautiful, medium-bodied red that is clean, silky, and ridiculously delicious.
