Studio Series is a new Cab-Syrah winemaker blend that will feature a different painting by artist/winemaker Heidi Barrett on the label each vintage, showing off her creative work both inside and outside of the bottle. Welcome to the studio! 

2017-Deeply pigmented in color like blackberry syrup, with gorgeous aromas of ripe fruit - black cherry, currants, and blackberry, with alluring hints of cedar and vanilla. It’s a rich, bold wine across the palate with explosive flavor bursts and textural appeal. Moderate tannins and good length enhance this concentrated, dense Cabernet-based blend. Harmonious blending creates a wine greater than the sum of its parts – complexity and elegance abound in this work of winemaking art. Delicious and approachable upon release, we expect it will be an age-worthy addition to your cellar as well.

2018-Deep garnet in color from the ripe 2018 vintage, with open aromas of lush fruit – plum, blackberry, and cherry, and notes of cedar, vanilla, and white pepper. Across the palate it’s quite seamless and silky, rich and concentrated. The fruit flavors are bold and vibrant. Mouth-filling with smooth tannins, great texture and a long delicious finish. A beautiful wine from an excellent vintage – complexity and elegance abound in this work of winemaking art. Delicious and approachable upon release, we expect it will be an age-worthy addition to your cellar as well.

2019- Deep ruby in color. The aromas show expressive fruit characteristics of Cab and Syrah especially – berry, cherry and plum with nuances of French oak, blueberry, garden herbs, and tea leaves. The layered fruit character of the aromas carries through in the mouth coating, vibrant, and lively flavors. Very streamlined silky tannins and mouthfeel across the palate. Tasty and inviting - This elegant work of winemaking artistry will delight with its richness and complexity for many years to come!
