One sniff and sip of our Napa Valley Chardonnay is all that’s required to recognize the exceptional quality of this fine wine. This wine opens with aromas of ripe golden apple, white peach, and notes of oak. On the palate, apple and pear characters are balanced by fresh acidity, and the finish is clean, with appealing mineral notes. This is a versatile food-pairing wine—we love it with fresh salads, grilled scallops, and nearly any selection of cheeses.
"The 2018 Chardonnay comes 95% from Carneros and 5% from Napa Valley. Barrel fermented in 33% new oak, it spent eight months on the lees, and 18% went through malolactic. It was bottled June 1, 2019. Slowly, it reveals very pretty poached pears, apple pie and apricot scents with touches of beeswax, toasted almond and lanolin. Medium-bodied, the palate has great poise and finesse, delivering a racy backbone and loads of tight-knit stone fruit flavors, finishing long and toasty." 90 points
Bright acidity lends a crisp freshness to the flavors of peach, passionfruit, and lemongrass, artfully balanced by a touch of freshly squeezed grapefruit and lime. Juicy and refreshing, with aromas of jasmine, peach, and grapefruit rind. Medium-bodied, with a lingering finish.
"Grapefruit, lime and lemon zest flavors are crisp and elegant, with a pretty note of chamomile on the finish. Drink now."-Wine Spectator

The Farmstead Pinot Noir is sourced from 2 small growers in the Anderson Valley, located just a stone's throw from our estate vineyard. The small crop, coupled with early ripening Dijon clones, produced richly flavored fruit that displays the fruit intensity and perfume of Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. The wine is pale ruby and garnet in appearance and has aromas of fresh red and black cherry, earthy strawberry, subtle cardamom, clove and cedar box. The palate has zippy red berry fruit in the entry, and a supple, perfumed and velvety mid palate with nuances of baking spices. The acid structure of the wine gives it life, length and versatility in food pairing - from grilled fish to roast duck.

"Very pure Sancerre aroma, generous, fresh, without grassy edges. The palate is expansive, then the nervosity makes its appearance and the finish is dry and lipsmackingly good. One of the things I love about it is that it leaves on the lips, not the palate, not the throat, but on your lips, a fresh little lemony whisper which makes it a fabulous complement to simple fish dishes."-Kermit Lynch
Elegant and subtle blend- Fresh and fruity with floral hints – Perfect with aperitif
"An expressive Champagne, featuring flavors of white cherry, acacia blossom, spice and slivered almond, set on a refined bead and layered with sleek acidity. This is linear and focused, with a hint of salinity lingering on the finish. Drink now through 2020. 12,500 cases made." -Wine Spectator

Tequila and mezcal are produced in different states of Mexico (though there is overlap). Tequila can only be made, by law, with one variety of agave: the Blue Agave. Mezcal can be made with upwards of 30 varieties of agave, though most are made with the Agave Espadin.
Del Maguey Vida is an artisanal, organic Mezcal. It launched in 2010, is highly mixable, and has gained much industry acceptance and high bartender demand. Hand-crafted, it is twice distilled, very slowly in small wood-fired, riverside copper stills to flavor specifications that underscore its versatility in cocktails.
Earthy and smoky aromas are followed by those of plum, vanilla and spice. The complex medley of flavors include plum, blackberry jam, tobacco, anise and sweet oak. The sturdy but softly integrated tannins yield to subtle oak notes as the wine lingers on the palate. Full of Zinfandel personality!

The light gold shade to the core of this wine is followed by intense aromatics, with more tropical notes of mango and papaya at first. This is followed by honeycomb and wonderful soapstone minerality. This wine is always plush and mouth filling and this year it is no different, with more stone fruit and white pepper on the palate. With a 38% malo-lactic fermentation there was sufficient residual malic to provide a great backbone of acidity. This wine will age beautifully over the next 4-5 years (2019-2020).
"Bramble berry, chocolate, basil, rose petal and blackberry mingle with fresh aromatics of sea air and oyster shell. The mouth is generous and full with notes of cassis, creamy dolce de leche, nutmeg, hazelnuts and plum preserves. Balanced acidity and fine tannins bring structure and length to the long finish." -WINEMAKER LUISA PONZI
Wine Enthusiast - “This is a block selection from a 2005 planting at the Aurora Vineyard, designed to replicate the original Abetina vines. It's silky and saturated, and scents of roses and flavors of figs and black cherries abound. Details of nutmeg and mocha contribute further length and interest. It should drink well into the mid-2020s, but it is flat-out delicious already, so no need to wait.” -95 Points

Hailing from acclaimed vineyard sites, the 2018 Carneros Chardonnay offers a creamy full body complemented by fresh, persistent acidity. Layers of yellow apple, lemon curd, baked pear, and toasted brioche lead to a balanced and lasting finish of vanilla and baking spice.
"From the producer’s Lewis Vineyard, this white is thickly dense in Bosc pear and toasted oak. Rich and robust, it offers lengthy texture and buttery length: a good fit for fans of a full-bodied, opulent style." 90 points Wine Enthusiast
The signature white wine of Talley Vineyards, the Estate Chardonnay represents a pure expression of the calcareous soils and cool maritime climate of the Arroyo Grande Valley produced in a classic old world style, incorporating barrel fermentation and aging. This bottling dates to the inaugural vintage of 1986 and was the first Chardonnay produced in the Arroyo Grande Valley.
Pale gold in appearance, the Estate Chardonnay offers aromas of cantaloupe, yellow apple skin, and a hint of toasted bread crumbs. The palate is juicy and bright. Notes of peach nectar, stone fruit pith, wet river rock, and lemon curd lead to a refreshing and slightly toasty finish.
Try pairing this Chardonnay with black cod and truffled cauliflower or lemony grilled chicken and spinach.
