Bouchard Père & Fils Santenay La Comme

$52.99

"At Santenay, the Côte d'Or dies a good death!", as is said in Burgundy. In fact, the last appellation at the south of the Côte de Beaune has substance. The specific wine parcel of this red Premier Cru, is limestone sub-soil synonymous with finesse, touches the terroir of Chassagne-Montrachet and produces a wine that is quite rich and highly perfumed.

Tasting Notes: Garnet color with brown to mauve shades. The elegant bouquet reveals aromas of small cooked red fruit, like strawberry and raspberry. Pleasantly balanced and perfumed mouth notes of kirsch and caramel. A delicate wine.
