2011 was a great vintage on Mt Veeder ! Being at an elevation of 2200 feet these cabernet grapes suffered none of the valley floor issues ! This cabernet sauvignon has massive aromas of cherries and berries; with notes of mocha, vanilla and sweet smoke. Tobacco and cedar come through with a hints of violet and cherry. The entry is sweet with juicy fruit flavors and black cherry smoke character. The wine continues to please the palate as the toasty oak comes into play. A very long finish hints of age-worthiness. This wine is great now but can be laid down for the next 10-12 years.
Funk-n-Delicious Peche is a Belgian style blonde ale, spontaneously fermented with wild airborne yeast. It is then transferred into Gwerztraminer barrels for a secondary fermentation, of which Brettanomyces is the majority. This 'Brett' gives the beer its distinct 'funky' characteristic. Once the 'Velo de Flor' of yeast drops into suspension, it is transferred into Johannesburg Riesling barrels with organic peaches to age, until the desired balance of 'funk' fruit and filigree is achieved.
Romance and Clown Shoes? You betcha! They go together like tweed jackets and sweater vests, like coins in a fountain, like anger management and therapy. We used a classic Belgian yeast strain in this Saison, and dry hopped it with Cascade, Amarillo, and Galaxy hops for a refreshing twist on a traditional style.
Pouring a glowing orange/copper color, Funkier Pumpkin leaps from the glass with a rich, pumpkin spice aroma punctuated by funky, forest floor notes from the brettanomyces, a wild yeast strain known for imparting unique flavors and aromas. With an effervescent mouthfeel thanks to spritzy carbonation, the flavor of Funkier Pumpkin features a balanced array of pumpkin pie spices including nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and allspice. No single spice dominates before giving way to a slight pumpkin flavor that transitions into pleasant, refreshing tartness; a slight warming finish from the cinnamon and ABV and a touch of toasty, toffee-like sweetness from caramel malt. Funkier Pumpkin will be available exclusively in 750 mL bottles.

Ripe plumb, and black fruit with a predominance of red plums and cherries, typical of high and cold areas, sweet and fine spices with aromas of low mountain and understory, assembled with elegant roasted oak aromas.
Taste: Freshness in the mouth, broad and structured, very intense fruit load, sweet and ripe tannins, very full in fruit flavors, aromatic herbs and licorice. End of mouth long and persistent.

This Farmhouse Ale traces its roots to the small rustic breweries of Southern Belgium. The word Saison comes to us from the French language and it means Season. Lightly spiced with Organic Ginger, Orange Peels, Black Pepper and Grains of Paradise, this brew promises to quench your thirst on the hottest Southern California days or wherever your travels may take you.
AROMA: One of the most aromatic beers we make. It's rooted in an explosion of spices (notably the Ginger and Orange Peel) which are partnered with the phenols from our Saison yeast. The nose of the beer is overwhelmingly spicy and fruity from the spice additions.
TASTE: The first sip always begins with a sweet malt expression that is immediately overwhelmed by the yeast flavors and peppery spices that we have employed. As the beer fades, a slight tartness pervades and develops in a slightly acidic finish making the beer that much more refreshing.

Sour Red Ale aged in Oak Wine Barrels.
The word vulpine means "like a fox." Here, we’re referring to the deep, reddish hues of Obscura Vulpine, a beer brewed especially for barrel aging. What goes into the wood as rich, malty, and ruby-colored, comes out a complex, sour, garnet ale. With notes of dried tart cherries, red currants, and oak, this is a beer as artful as our favorite forest canine.
The 2015 Speare Cabernet is a medium weight wine. It shows complex aromas of a black cherries, herbs, raspberries, red fruits, to tea leaves and tobacco. On the pallet there's an immediate attack of sweet fruit followed by hints of vanilla and cream from the oak. The wine has good structure with ample acidity and well integrated tannins.

This small organic winery in the village of Ambonnay in Champagne consists of seven hectares of land, lovingly cultivated by Pierre Déthune. It produces nine Grand Cru wines. Each of these undergoes malolactic fermentation and aging in the winery’s cellars, which which were cut out of the chalk in the 17thcentury.
70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay including 30 to 50% reserve wine guarantee this wine a very consistent quality. This champagne’s intense nose and sparkling colou with tints of ripe wheat will seduce you. On the palate, its aromas of underbrush, honeysuckle and bergamot invite you to the forest and the spice market. Its freshness and liveliness are combined with its creamy flavor. This Grand Cru champagne expresses all its complexity and deliciousness with a veal filet, foie gras and apple-apricot chutney, or a grilled beef.
Vibrant fiery orange in color from an infusion of Hungarian goathorn peppers. We source these flavorful peppers from the same Washington farm prized by our friends at Mama Lil’s. We filter our vodkas once using minimal charcoal to retain the character of locally-sourced grain, while our fractioning still ensures a superior clarify and sharply-focused structure. This spirit’s savory red pepper nose is surrounded by a subtle earthiness. More about flavor than burn, it builds to a gently spicy heat that dissipates into fresh capsicum with a touch of sweetness on the finish.
California- American Wild Ale- 6.2% ABV. BARREL AGED. Pours a hazy golden orange color. Grapefruit tartness and pit fruit character delivered in tart, sour doses. Vinous character lends complexity along with mild funky notes. 750 ml
Creamy, smooth, and sweet but not cloying, the 7.5% ABV in this Hard Root Beer is all but undetectable. With traditional root beer notes of sarsaparilla and vanilla, this is a craft beverage for someone craving something a little different. Serve over ice or with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy.
Earthy and smoky aromas are followed by those of plum, vanilla and spice. The complex medley of flavors include plum, blackberry jam, tobacco, anise and sweet oak. The sturdy but softly integrated tannins yield to subtle oak notes as the wine lingers on the palate. Full of Zinfandel personality!
