Bedrock Ode to Lulu Rosé
"2021 Ode to Lulu is simply one of our favorite renditions to date. From dry farmed, truly old vines planted between the 1880s and 1921. From Contra Costa County and Sonoma County, the backbone of this wine is ancient Mataro (Mourvedre) that lends concentration and density of fruit (surprisingly so, given the pale hue). The 2021 features 70% Mataro along with Ode to Lulu’s typical Grenache and touch of Cinsault. All fruit was whole cluster pressed with native yeasts fermentation and bone dry. As always, we aim for a balance between ethereal lightness combined with straight-up delicious fruit qualities….feel like we succeeded with this wine!” Morgan Twian Peterson, Wine Maker

Allimant-Laugner Brut Cremant d'Alsace
The Crémant Brut is made with a blend of different Alsatian varietals. The Pinot blanc gives it softness and a good balance. The Riesling brings bright and fruity flavors. And finally, the Pinot gris offers richness and roundness to the product. The grapes we use for the production of Crémant are handpicked at the start of the harvest, when they offer for vinication their optimum balance harmony. The grapes keep a little acidity which will bring freshness to the wine. You'll appreciate the bright yellow color with its tiny bubbles and the nose will reveal lemon aromas and slightly acid notes. Then ripe fruits will express very well in a rich and elegant palate.

Turley Juvenile Zinfandel
Though the vast majority of our wines are single vineyard designates, Juvenile is actually composed of a variety of young vines that have been replanted in several of our old vine sites. We tag the vine when we replant it so as not to mix the brand new vine with its much older neighbors, then pick these young vines separately and make a distinct wine. The vines that make up Juvenile range in age from about 6-25 years, and we pull from 15 of our vineyards across California, including Hayne, Ueberroth, Pesenti, Salvador, and Vineyard 101.

100% Listán Negro, 100% carbonic maceration. An extremely fresh and bright wine meant to drink young and with a chill.
Listán Negro is also known as Listán Prieto or Palomino Negro, and is very close related to País, grown in Chile, and Mission, grown in Arizona. Listán Negro is hardly grown at all on the European mainland- it was wiped out by the phylloxera epidemic- but it is widely planted on the Canary Islands, where it covers almost 12,000 acres of land. Bermejos is on the easternmost island of Lanzarote. Only 125km from the African coast, conditions there are extreme!

Farm Cottage "Ryan Spencer Vineyard" Syrah
Ryan Spencer Vineyard Syrah hails from the Alfaro Estate and planted to clones 470, 877 and 174. This Syrah was harvested on 10/15/20 and fermented 100% whole cluster for 12 days. Once completed, the wine underwent full malo-lactic fermentation in old french barrels. Bottled in August 2021. 13.5% alcohol.
This Syrah is delicate and powerful at the same time, with nuanced layers of fruit, mineral, and earth in balance.

"Produced from equal parts of these varietals, the fruit for this wine comes from Chidaine’s estate-grown, bio-dynamically farmed vineyards located just north of the Cher river between the villages of Montrichard & Chissay-en-Touraine.
The nose of gooseberries has some some floral notes is followed by a medium-full wine with a chalky texture. Excellent acidity and beautiful tension bring up the solid mineral core. Very refreshing, but surprisingly complex, this is a perennial favorite where supply never is sufficient for demand. Amazing value and very food friendly!"
