Salvo Foti I Vigneri Rosso
Founded by Salvo Foti, I Vigneri is an association of local Sicilian winemakers who seek to highlight the distinct growing sites of Etna. Fruit for the ‘Rosso’ grows at soaring altitudes of 700 meters, in sandy, volcanic soils, experiencing large diurnal temperature swings and intense weather patterns. The wine is a 50/50 blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, showing savory notes of red fruit, smoke, and soil. Great with pizza!

Rosenthal
San Fereolo Langhe Nebbiolo
From the producer:
While Dolcetto rules the estate, we are offered a glimpse of how the estate’s style would translate to its northern Barolo neighbor through this wine. Half of the fruit comes from a friend’s prime holding in Serralunga d’Alba, while the balance is sourced from an estate parcel in Dogliani. The long 30-day maceration in large vat allows for all of the character of the terroir to present itself, and the result is a wine of power and depth.

RNDC
Sandrone Barbera
Vibrant & Generous. In this production area there are different vineyard parcels in which we cultivate Barbera in the hills of Barolo; each expresses its own character, dictated by the peculia- rities of terrain and climate. Each vintage we pick its grapes by hand and vinify each parcel separately to preserve the character of site into the wines. From the assemblage of these wines comes our Barbera d'Alba which we mature for 15 months in wooden barrels, a good part of which are new and that best balance the natural fruity and fresh texture of the wine with soft tannins.

Sandy Giovese Vino Rosso 3 Liters
"Since 2016, the winery has been converting their estate to organic farming. Systemic chemical treatments, including insecticides and herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers are never used. Green manure, water-conservation methods, drastically reduced copper and sulfur treatments, carefully-tended beehive communities, and insect sexual-confusion techniques are employed. With over 800 hectares of arable lands on which an array of agricultural products are cultivated in addition to grapes, enhanced biodiversity and soil health is measured through the estate’s commitment to The Biopass Project since 2014, supported by a fully solar-powered cellar.
Blend: 87% Sangiovese, 13% Trebbiano"
