Lava Cap Zinfandel

Lava Cap is regarded as one of the premier Zinfandel producers in California. Our Zinfandel grapes are grown at some of the highest elevations permitted for the grape. The warm days and cool night at our elevation allow for a long growing season, coaxing out exceptional depth and character. Our Zinfandel is noted for its bright and juicy blue and black berry, and rich, full bodied tannins. Aged 24 months in 100% Burgundian French oak barrels.

Enters with subtle notes of briar and spice which quickly give way to aromas of raspberry liqueur. This vibrant Zinfandel offers layers of blackberry and black cherry fruit. A warm, luscious finish lingers on with toasty oak flavors.
