Ramsay North Coast Pinot Noir
The nose shows classic Pinot Noir notes of raspberry and cherry, with lots of earthiness and lovely toasty oak. The mouth explodes with blueberry, Bing cherry, anise and toast. Even more striking is the depth and richness of the mouth-feel, like a rich, thick, red pillow for the mouth. The wine is very fruity, with blackberry characters and a big, rich, tarry and solid balance. The oak is refined and quite opulent in its “warm” characters.
"This wine is fresh, lively with aromas of strawberry jam, morello cherry preserve, clove, toasty vanilla, on the nose. The flavors on the mid-palate are black berry cream soda, huckleberry, pink peppercorn, intertwined with mocha and dry silky tannins. Enjoy with fish and poultry." 91 Points Wine Enthusiast
