The majority of his parcels are located mid-slope with various exposures. "Prés Dieu" is made up of 100% chardonnay derived from two parcels: the one in Coulommes, otherwise known as the “Vignes Dieu” has southern exposure, while the one in Vrigny, known as “Prés” has an eastern exposure.

The vines grow on a bed of “sables du Cuisien” (fine sand) with traces of Bartonian limestone on the surface and numerous small fossil shells.
