This one reminds us of that perfect early fall camping trip. The smells of summer are still all around, while the evening air brings the first chill of the coming winter. Sitting around the campfire, enjoying an evening drink at sunset.

Nose: dark oak, savory walnut, thick molasses
Palate: oh wow, here is the camping trip. Rich dark oak, cowboy style coffee, and Hershey chocolate reminiscent of s'mores, but with a sweet oakiness instead of marshmallow.
Finish: long, warm, sweet oak

We think this is a perfect whisky to bring out for fall. Thick, unctuous, and just the right balance of spice and sweet to make it interesting.
