Eagle Rare PlumpJack Single Barrel #14

Smell: cherry cola, maple syrup, oak, pound cake
Taste: delicate richness, spice, oak
Thoughts: Eagle Rare has a prominent cherry cola note that always stands out to me. Barrel #14 has that and then some. Notes of maple syrup, oak and a dessert bread note that is reminding me of pound cake. On the palate, a delicate rich entry that’s immediately followed up by spice and oak. The viscosity of this bourbon leans more towards the "lighter plus" end of the spectrum.
