PlumpJack & Odette Reserve Earn 100 Point Scores From The Wine Advocate

A big congrats to our winemakers on their Robert Parker scores. We are very proud of our talented winemakers for receiving incredible scores from Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate on their 2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.

2016 PlumpJack, CADE & Odette Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
2016 CADE Reserve 98+:
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) has a deep purple-black color, revealing youthfully reticent notions of black soil, cigar box, stewed tea and truffles with a core of crème de cassis, Black Forest cake, plum preserves and star anise plus wafts of underbrush and pencil lead. The bold, concentrated, full-bodied palate is a hedonist's dream, featuring bags of black fruit preserves and earthy accents and framed by very firm, super ripe tannins, finishing with epic length and depth.

2016 PlumpJack Reserve 100pt:
A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot, the deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve hits the ground running with the most stunning perfume of crushed black cherries, violets, dark chocolate, licorice and blueberry pie, going on to reveal subtle nuances of cinnamon toast, hoisin, menthol and fragrant underbrush. Full-bodied and oh-so-generously fruited in the mouth, the rich, decadent palate is beautifully lifted with fantastic freshness and powered by super ripe, silt-like tannins, finishing with layer upon layer of long-lingering floral, spice and vibrant berry notes. If "PlumpJack awesome" isn't a phrase to describe the ultimate in deliciousness, it should be.

2016 Odette Reserve 100pt:
The 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is deep purple-black in color and simply sings of black cherry compote, blackcurrant cordial, lilacs, star anise and unsmoked cigars with underlying notions of cedar chest, eucalyptus, mocha and black truffles. Full-bodied, opulently fruited and strutting amazing freshness, the black fruit and earthy layers have seamless freshness and red fruit accents sewn into the multifaceted palate with a solid, fine-grained frame and epic persistence. The perfect poise here is remarkable.
