The nose is fruity, fleshy, gourmand and offers elegance and a fine concentration. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of stewed white peach, crushed pear and small notes of mirabelle plum associated with a hint of quince, nectarine, nuts as well as a subtle hint of white flowers (after aeration) and saline minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, finely fat and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine juiciness, a small straightness, tension and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, mirabelle plum / yellow small fruits combined with small notes of crushed pear, crushed nectarine as well as a hint of lemon, nuts / almonds, yuzu zest and of saline minerality. Good length. The aftertaste is relatively suave.
"Based on Pinot Noir the NV Crémant d'Alsace Rosé Brut has a very pale color with just a hint of rosé. Very delicate fruit aroma with hints of red berries and flowers on the very subtle, fresh and elegant nose lead to a full-flavored and quite expressive palate. The wine is quite powerful and fruit intense but in a discreet and elegant way. Firmly structured but provided with fine bubbles and an aromatic aftertaste there is really finesse in this very well-made and distinctive sparkling wine." -Robert Parker
Antiquum Farm is unusual in its ability to ripen lush fully mature deep dark fruit, and yet retain abundant natural acidity, given its high elevation vineyard: formerly Old School Vineyards, winemaker Stephen Hagen bought the property in 1999 and planted about 21 acres of wine grapes. Their 800 feet elevation is considered the viable elevation limit for growing Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley. Diurnal variation is extreme which tends to allow the grapes to hold onto acidity. The soil is uniquely bellpine, a silty clay loam over sandstone parent material. It is the most depleted of all classified vineyard soil types in Oregon.
This vineyard produces grapes with loads of fine-grained fruit-driven tannin. Generous treatments of French oak (40% in the Juel) never overwhelm the unique attributes of this site. There is a vibrant tension between shining acidity and opulent depth of fruit. Deep bramble and confectionary fruit are offset by singing tropical notes, rose and hints of lavender and violet. Background notes of aged balsamic, tobacco and blood orange are present, too.
The 2016 Regnie was matured in six-year-old barrels. It felt a little more disjointed at the nose compared to its Morgon counterpart, although with aeration it melds together with scents of black plum, a hint of brine and a slight loamy scent that comes through with time. The palate is well balanced with fine grip on the entry. There is good backbone to this Regnie, more saline than Antoine Sunier's Morgon with a lively, focused finish. Excellent.
Aperol is the perfect aperitif.
Its unique bittersweet taste and bright orange color derive from a secret and original recipe, that has remained unchanged over time. An infusion of ingredients including oranges, herbs and roots which make a perfectly balanced combination.
Lightly alcoholic, zesty orange with complex herbal scents harmonized with a touch of vanilla
Intense orange top with herbal and woody body notes, pleasantly bittersweet and salty
Velvety and rounded, with long-lasting orange and wood memories
Herbal long pleasant typical bitterness
This Grüner Veltliner is a blend of wines sourced from different terraced vineyards. The elevated terraces consist of stonier soils (schisted granite). The vines there show aromatic expression, good acidity, elegant stone fruit and lots of minerals. The lower sited terraces mostly of layered fertile loess show more body and ripeness. By combining those two characteristics we get a really classic Grüner Veltliner with both finesse and a certain vigor.
This controlled and guaranteed origin (DOCG) ASOLO PROSECCO wine is created from a selection of grapes obtained from the vineyards owned by the company in the district of Montello and the Asolo hills, and has a characteristically low yield per hectare. It is vinified in white with partial cold maceration of the grapes and extremely slow processing to create a sparkling wine, at low temperature in pressure tank. The elegant and refined nature of this sparkling wine make it unique as an aperitif and in combination with rice and vegetable dishes or with dishes of Mediterranean cuisine based on fish.
"Fragrant yellow flower, crushed thyme, Bartlett pear and citrus aromas carry over to the dry vibrant palate together with green apple and crisp acidity. Small, continuous bubbles lend finesse." -Wine Enthusiast
Deep red garnet and bright.
Cherry and raspberry compote notes are backed by red licorice undertones and juicy acidity in this medium-bodied red.
Floral and mineral details weave together on the crisp finish.
40% Syrah – 40% Grenache noir – 20% Mourvèdre
"Dense and saturated, with blackberry, plum, bittersweet chocolate and earth flavors, backed by lively acidity and hefty tannins. Drink now through 2024". -WIne Spectator
Serve with roasted and grilled white and red meats, pasta with meat sauces, risottos and soups, semi-mature cheeses, cured meats.
Deep rosé colour, with clear fragrances of strawberry and brushwood. Its taste is fresh, pervasive, mineral, and at the same time velvety and surprisingly pleasant with lively red cherry fruit, tangy and properly dry on the finish. A softly sparkling wine that’s great with charcuterie.
Bright, lifted citrus aromatics of kaffir lime and grapefruit abound, supported by ripe nectarine-like stone fruit notes. An elegant, concentrated palate reveals ripe, juicy stone fruit and lemongrass, supported by a lovely minerality.

Beautiful white gold color with green hues. Bright, luminous and clear. Youthful appearance. The nose is rich, ripe, he favors first flowers, then he reveals fruity aromas with soft and sweet scents. The palate is powerful with a nice mineral footprint that enhances the fruity and vegetal end. The soft fits perfectly with the liveliness in a strong structure that expresses the Chablisienne race.
Gilles Gaudron's Vouvray Brut 'Blanc de Chenin' is made by the Traditional Method (the same method used to make Champagne) using 20 year old vines planted on limestone-clay soils. With its crisp acidity, complex, biscuity character and fine, persistent bubbles, this sparkling Chenin Blanc would make a great alternative to Champagne.
