100% Centesimino, a rare semi-aromatic native grape of Romagna named after the farmer that preserved its cultivation (Centesimino, or Cheapskate, was his nick name). Grown at over 450 meters elevation in the midst of the Italian Apennines, on sandstone soils of marine origin. The grapes are farmed following biodynamic and organic practices.

This is a fruity, deep red medium-bodied, savory wine with well-polished tannins. Think of candied wild berries wrapped by balsamic notes.
Pairs well with cured meat, like salumi and cheese, rich game and red meats, and tomatoe based pastas.

Do I need to show ID?: Yes. Every delivery and pickup needs someone 21 or older with a valid ID.
Where do you ship wine?: Within California and to these states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MN, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OK, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY. Someone 21 or older has to sign for it, so send it somewhere a grown-up will be home.
How long will it take?: Orders usually leave the shop within 1–3 business days. In very hot or freezing weather we may hold a shipment a few days rather than cook your wine.
Can I pick it up instead?: Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and pick Fillmore or Noe Valley. We'll email you when it's ready. Bring an ID.
What do I do when it arrives?: Store corked bottles on their side somewhere cool and dark. If it traveled, give it a day or two before opening; wine gets a little rattled in transit too.
Do you discount mixed cases?: Mix any 12 bottles of still wine and save 10% at checkout. Champagne and sparkling aren't included.
