Crafted from Vasse Felix’s premier sections of Wilyabrup Cabernet, with the finest gravel loam soils, best clone, aspect and access to the cooling ocean breeze. It was the first red wine produced in Margaret River and has been made every year since 1972. This wine’s distinctive style possesses all the hallmarks of the finest Wilyabrup Cabernet.

An open and vibrant palate with lovely raspberry, blackcurrant, wood spice and sweet tobacco leaf, leads into a rich volume of fine terracotta tannins that are long, allowing the perfume to extend. Fine acid freshness, beautiful fruit succulence and a dark chocolate finish add to this elegant but powerful wine.

Where do you ship wine?: Within California and to these states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MN, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OK, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY. Someone 21 or older has to sign for it, so send it somewhere a grown-up will be home.
How long will it take?: Orders usually leave the shop within 1–3 business days. In very hot or freezing weather we may hold a shipment a few days rather than cook your wine.
Can I pick it up instead?: Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and pick Fillmore or Noe Valley. We'll email you when it's ready. Bring an ID.
What do I do when it arrives?: Store corked bottles on their side somewhere cool and dark. If it traveled, give it a day or two before opening; wine gets a little rattled in transit too.
Do you discount mixed cases?: Mix any 12 bottles of still wine and save 10% at checkout. Champagne and sparkling aren't included.
