Winery Notes: The CCOF-certified Chardonnay from Linda Vista Vineyard, nestled in the cool climate of Oak Knoll, flourished during one of the coolest harvest seasons on record. This allowed the distinctive character of the old Olmo clone to fully express itself. Harvested on September 29, the grapes were gently pressed and barrel-fermented, then aged for nine months in French oak barrels using the sur lie method. This Chardonnay reveals a nose of toasted almond, Bartlett pear, Granny Smith apple, and hints of grapefruit. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with juicy citrus acidity and a seamlessly integrated elegance, showcasing the cool-climate traits of Oak Knoll.

Where do you ship wine?: Within California and to these states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MN, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OK, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY. Someone 21 or older has to sign for it, so send it somewhere a grown-up will be home.
How long will it take?: Orders usually leave the shop within 1–3 business days. In very hot or freezing weather we may hold a shipment a few days rather than cook your wine.
Can I pick it up instead?: Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and pick Fillmore or Noe Valley. We'll email you when it's ready. Bring an ID.
What do I do when it arrives?: Store corked bottles on their side somewhere cool and dark. If it traveled, give it a day or two before opening; wine gets a little rattled in transit too.
Do you discount mixed cases?: Mix any 12 bottles of still wine and save 10% at checkout. Champagne and sparkling aren't included.
