From 65+ year-old vines in 3 Cote du Puy plots, where the soils are known as roches bleues (blue schist). A longer maceration provides more velvety texture, while the wine preserves its trademark snappy, bright quality. Very violet and very mineral, this serious Cote du Py has all the depth and energy that we expect from this appellation. The really elegant medium-bodied palate has a pronounced mineral acidity, and the tannin structure builds to an imposing crescendo in the long, compact finish.

Where do you ship wine?: Within California and to these states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MN, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OK, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY. Someone 21 or older has to sign for it, so send it somewhere a grown-up will be home.
How long will it take?: Orders usually leave the shop within 1–3 business days. In very hot or freezing weather we may hold a shipment a few days rather than cook your wine.
Can I pick it up instead?: Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and pick Fillmore or Noe Valley. We'll email you when it's ready. Bring an ID.
What do I do when it arrives?: Store corked bottles on their side somewhere cool and dark. If it traveled, give it a day or two before opening; wine gets a little rattled in transit too.
Do you discount mixed cases?: Mix any 12 bottles of still wine and save 10% at checkout. Champagne and sparkling aren't included.
