From a historic vineyard in Tassare, planted in the 1960s by the Baiardi family and now cultivated orgaincally by Vecchia Posta.

Ciliegiolo is a red grape variety of central and northwestern Italy, something of an obscurity in past decades but now undergoing a renaissance. The grape's name comes from an Italian word for cherry, a fruit which Ciliegiolo wines resemble both in color and aroma. It is this character that has prompted the vine's renaissance.

Do I need to show ID?: Yes. Every delivery and pickup needs someone 21 or older with a valid ID.
Where do you ship wine?: Within California and to these states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MN, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OK, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY. Someone 21 or older has to sign for it, so send it somewhere a grown-up will be home.
How long will it take?: Orders usually leave the shop within 1–3 business days. In very hot or freezing weather we may hold a shipment a few days rather than cook your wine.
Can I pick it up instead?: Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and pick Fillmore or Noe Valley. We'll email you when it's ready. Bring an ID.
What do I do when it arrives?: Store corked bottles on their side somewhere cool and dark. If it traveled, give it a day or two before opening; wine gets a little rattled in transit too.
Do you discount mixed cases?: Mix any 12 bottles of still wine and save 10% at checkout. Champagne and sparkling aren't included.
