Gaja Rossj-Bass Langhe

This wine is produced from grapes grown in several estate-owned vineyards. The Rossj vineyard, planted in 1984, is named for Angelo Gaja's younger daughter Rossana (Rossj). Bass is Piedmontese for the Italian basso, meaning low, a name derived from the vineyard's position. Pheasants are featured on Rossj-Bass' label to commemorate the beautiful birds that inhabit the forests adjacent to GAJA's vineyards.

Golden color with greenish hues
This wine shows an elegant and complex nose, with floral notes of wisteria, lemon balm and acacia flowers, fruity nuances of peach, swiftly leading the way for a slight saline note.
Intense and crunchy, with a vibrant structure that resonates with citrus fruits and mineral elements. It shows itself little by little, with refreshing minerality on the long finish.
