Bonal Gentiane-Quina Aperitif des Montagnes is a historic, bittersweet French apéritif wine crafted in the foothills of the French Alps since 1865.

Bonal is built on a base of mistelle (unfermented grape juice fortified with neutral alcohol), which provides a natural, rich sweetness reminiscent of plums, raisins, and figs. This sweet, vinous foundation is balanced by the infusion of three key ingredients:

Chinchona Bark (Quina): Gives the drink its distinct, chalky quinine bitterness.

Greater Yellow Gentian Root: Adds a sharp, earthy alpine bitterness.

Alpine Herbs & Orange Peel: Contributes notes of freshly cut hay, peat, pine sap, and subtle baking spices.
