AL Sauvignon Blanc is the newest addition to Wrath. We've got nothing against corks or bottles but sometimes, a can just gets the job done. Whether hiking, boating, or by the pool... whenever cans of beer go into a cooler, a can of wine should be there too. Enjoying the convenience of canned wine shouldn't have to mean sacrificing quality. Grapes used for AL are sourced from our estate San Saba Vineyard and are treated with the same care and respect as our bottled wines. So go play, relax, enjoy and recycle!
Around 5,000 years ago, the Minoans settled the Southern Aegean, including the island of Thira (Santorini). Today, in Crete, farmers are cultivating the ancient variety Assyrtiko which originated from the island of Santorini. The Alexakis brothers source these grapes from high-elevation vineyards where ancient winepresses have survived since the Bronze Age. The wine is tank-fermented and aged sur lie for three months.
WINEMAKER’S NOTES: Direct pressed, fermented and aged in a combination of new and one-year-old Stockinger puncheons from Austria. The wine was aged for 10 months with no filtration. 100% malolactic fermentation.
VITICULTURAL AREA: Frei Vineyard is located in Solano County’s Green Valley. The area is a small pocket of land, about 3 miles long and a mile wide – tucked between the southeastern edge of Suisun Valley. These are newly grafted vines onto what was originally Pinot Gris. The Chenin cuttings come from vines planted in 1979 from Story Vineyard in Amador County. This is our first vintage, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Our Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of lemon, lime, grapefruit, honeydew melon, orange peel, and white flowers. On the palate, there is more vibrant citrus with melon, honeysuckle flavors followed by a crisp acidity and touch of minerality. A bit of Semillon and Viognier in the blend add another layer of complexity to the wine with flavors of kiwi and lemon cream pie. By fermenting in stainless steel, French oak, and concrete, we build layers of complexity. The barrel fermentations add texture, density, and viscosity to the mid-palate of the wine, while the concrete adds a touch of flint and minerality to the finish along with mid-palate richness. Stainless steel fermentations preserve the natural Sauvignon Blanc aromatics, vibrant acidity and crispness.
Fresh as a slap across the face, bright as the morning sun and clean as a glacial lake. This light-bodied Gruner Veltliner from the Austrian grower Franz Etz makes music with its layers of fruit notes and tickles you with perky acidity.
The latest from Andrew Jones, this "Skins" orange wine is a blend of Chenin Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Verdejo. That eclectic combination sees some skin contact, imparting a faintly orange-ish hue to the wine and explaining the name. Funky, cidery aromas come through on an expressive nose, while an herbal, savory note makes an appearance on the palate. Round body, racy acidity, and a long finish complete the package. Even though this is a white wine, don't serve it too cold, or you'll lose out on the aromatics. (Sara Jenkins, K&L)
Lemony fresh, this brisk white carries notes of tarragon and a hint of crunchy green pepper. Citrusy acidity keeps it bright and cleansing, as if the flavors were lifted by a sea breeze. A perfect pairing for picnics and creamy goat cheese.
Color: Pale yellow
Scent: Fruity peach and pineapple with a pleasant and intriguing minerality
Taste: Fresh, fruity, soft and persistent
"A firm and dense white, yet ever so fresh and vivid. Medium to full body with linear acidity that gives it form and drive" -James Suckling. A blend of 70% Carricante with 30% Catarratto.

"Jacob Gundlach brought over this grape from his homeland and it has been growing on Rhinefarm ever since. Although plenty of wineries in Alsace make their Gewürztraminers a little sweet, we vinify ours completely dry, with bright acidity."
Aromas of allspice, jasmine and citrus burst from the glass. Luscious flavors of pink grapefruit, white nectarine, navel orange, lychee and starfruit are spiced with fresh ginger and coriander.
Bright acidity lends a crisp freshness to the flavors of peach, passionfruit, and lemongrass, artfully balanced by a touch of freshly squeezed grapefruit and lime. Juicy and refreshing, with aromas of jasmine, peach, and grapefruit rind. Medium-bodied, with a lingering finish.
"Grapefruit, lime and lemon zest flavors are crisp and elegant, with a pretty note of chamomile on the finish. Drink now."-Wine Spectator
Located in the famous village of Pommard, Cote d'Or, Domaine Boillot is one of the leading producers in Burgundy. The estate vineyards are planted on various prestigious appellations such as Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay and Pommard. On the palate there are hints of rich toastiness and just a touch of oak elevate this from simple to really quite complex.
The 2018 PlumpJack Chardonnay is packed with the fresh aromas of Meyer
lemon, pomelo, green pear, honeysuckle, and orange blossom with a touch of
toast and apple cinnamon. The palate is creamy, silky, and bright, giving the sensations of great weight and vibrant freshness.
Our Chardonnay grapes are sourced from two vineyards in the Napa Valley one in Los Carneros and the other in St. Helena. At just 30 miles apart, Los Carneros can be 10 -15 degrees cooler than St Helena. Due to this difference in
temperature along with other differences, such as soil type, these two vineyard sites vary greatly in character and expression but add layers and layers of flavor to
the nose and palate.
This is just plain fun! Color is pale straw with an edge of green; clarity is remarkably bright for an unfiltered wine. Nose leads off with a beguiling mix of citrus leaf, mint, and green almond. Palate weight is medium, possessing a touch of salinity that pops the bright acidity with a nice mouthwatering zip. Flavor profile is balancing right on the intersection of citrus and stone fruit (my happy place). The finish rolls out with silky viscosity, a rumor of pineapple, and memory of daffodil. With this in my glass, bring me oysters plucked from the cold briny sea, and I will be a happy man.
In the new vintage of Speare Chardonnay, we opted for a richer style than previous Speare Chards. Classic Central Coast tropical fruit framed in by toasty oak and rich creamy texture with buttery notes.
80% Edna Valley, 20% Arroyo Grande. Fermented 50/50 in stainless and oak; 20% of the oak is new American.
