Cameron Winery Dundee Hills Reserve Pinot Noir

$50.99

Winery Notes: This blend is a true melange of barrels from across the Dundee Hills: Wadenswil, Pommard and Coury clone barrels from Abbey Ridge, as well as Clos Electrique and La Sierra are present in this bottling of less than 300 cases. Though this wine is step below our single vineyard wines, it ain’t much of one. With a highly aromatic nose and a palate that is pure silk with ultra-pure fruit, this one has terrific clarity. Violets and earth take center stage aromatically while the silky palate is a bit more concentrated than the regular ’23 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir.

Our notes: Want Nuits-St. George, but not looking to pay those Burgundy prices? This wine from a tiny winery up in the Dundee Hills has all the earthy mushroom character with a bit more fruit.  Deep earthy nose, peony, iron, black plum, dark chocolate, and black cherry with good structure. this is for those who like their pinot denser and brooding.
