Grape Varietals: A blend of local native varietals inspired by a century-old blend. The dominant varietals are Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio with smaller quantities of Nocera, Cappuccio Tignolino, Acitana, Galatena and Calabrese. These are same varietals that go into the better known and award-winning Faro. It could therefore be considered Faro’s baby brother.

Bouquet: The nose is intense and grapey with notes of ripe red fruit with a spicy touch of vanilla.

Taste: Dry and intriguing on the palate, persistent and long finish.

Food Pairings: serve with fish with sauce: roasted white and red meats, aged cheese
