Brundlmayer Gruner Veltliner Terrassen
This Grüner Veltliner is a blend of wines sourced from different terraced vineyards. The elevated terraces consist of stonier soils (schisted granite). The vines there show aromatic expression, good acidity, elegant stone fruit and lots of minerals. The lower sited terraces mostly of layered fertile loess show more body and ripeness. By combining those two characteristics we get a really classic Grüner Veltliner with both finesse and a certain vigor.

This controlled and guaranteed origin (DOCG) ASOLO PROSECCO wine is created from a selection of grapes obtained from the vineyards owned by the company in the district of Montello and the Asolo hills, and has a characteristically low yield per hectare. It is vinified in white with partial cold maceration of the grapes and extremely slow processing to create a sparkling wine, at low temperature in pressure tank. The elegant and refined nature of this sparkling wine make it unique as an aperitif and in combination with rice and vegetable dishes or with dishes of Mediterranean cuisine based on fish.

Balanced between modern California and Old World, this wine is dense with buckets of black currant and cherry that are tempered with a dusty herbaceous quality. Built to age and best with food.
The 2016 Armé is another superb wine in the middle tier of the Marietta range. Fresh, savory and super- expressive, the Armé has a lot going on. Black cherry, sage, lavender, menthol and licorice give the wine striking savory nuance to play off the dark Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. More than anything else, though, the Armé is a superb value in California Cabernet.

The word Carbonare refers to coal and is used to describe this location because the volcanic soils here are black as coal. Produced from 100% Garganega and exposed only to stainless steel in order to preserve freshness, the Tessari family describes this wine as “earth in a glass”—a pure expression of their volcanic terroir.
Straw yellow with considerable intensity and brilliant highlights. This wine is creamy and elegant. It is characterized by freshness and aromas of citrus, herbs, and mineral. On the palate the wine is well-balanced and refreshing with a dry and persistent finish.
Best served with delicate fish-based dishes, truffle or mushroom risottos, and medium flavored cheeses as well as a variety of vegetarian dishes.
