Vevey Marziano Blanc de Morgex

The Blanc de Morgex is made from 100% Prié Blanc harvested from low-lying pergola-trained vines that cling to the steep slopes of Mont Blanc, looming overhead. The vines grow at 900-1200 meters above sea level in the highest-elevation vineyards in all of Europe. The youngest vines are 25 years old, while the oldest can exceed 80 years. Fermented in stainless steel for 15 days, the wine is ultra crisp, with delicate notes of edelweiss and lily of the valley, a touch of fresh, savory herbs and an intensely mineral backbone. It is as exhilarating as the snowbound peaks surrounding the vineyards from which is originates. 5,000 bottles produced annually
