R de Rimauresq Côtes de Provence Cru Classé Rosé

In the heart of Provence, 20 minutes from Toulon, the vineyard of Rimauresq extends over 60 hectares, at the foot of Notre Dame des Anges. It takes its name from the River Maures, Real Mauresque, which crosses the Domain. The microclimate of Rimauresq is very particular to the appellation 'Cotes de Provence'. The vineyard, located at an altitude ranging from 140 to 190 meters, enjoys the combined influence of beneficial effects of the Mistral and the shade of Our Lady of the Angels. The estate consists of a clayey-schistous and crystalline soil, with sandy and stony parts. It is this unusual diversity that allows Rimauresq to excel.

Made from a blend of 52% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 12% Mourvedre, 5% Ugni Blanc and 3% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Tibouren, this is classic Provence rosé with a subtle aroma of fine red fruit and spices. It comes from a selection of old vines in a northwest-facing vineyard on the Rimauresq estate. The dry, full taste pairs well with Mediterranean salads, grilled fish or light meat dishes.
