Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is quite possibly Italy’s most famous rosé wine and Masciarelli’s could be the best of them all. Made from 100% Montepulciano, this fresh and vibrant wine is fermented in stainless steel after a brief maceration and long, cool fermentation. Further aged for only a few months in stainless steel before release, this wine offers bright red and black berry fruit with a distinct floral character. As with most rosé wines, this is meant to be consumed early and will well complement a selection of cured meats.
