Domaine de Couron Viognier Cotes du Rhone

This family-run estate lies in the tiny hamlet of Saint Marcel d’Ardeche, 45 miles northwest of Avignon. The area is rich with ancient ruins, including the vestiges of a roman outpost. The Roman coin on the label is one of many found in the vineyard.

Balance and great finesse are the hallmarks at Domain de Couron. Using sustainable farming techniques, Jean-Luc and Marie-Lise Dorthe (the 9th generation of the family to produce wine) craft, with loving hands, their wines.

Honeyed apricot and pear aromas that are sweetly floral with subtle hints of cinnamon greet you with this wine. Good structure and acidity play against the fruity flavor profile in this soft and dry white, which brings back real summer (not the San Francisco kind) in just one sip.
