De Montille Corton - Charlemagne Magnum 2012

"The 2012 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from a 1.04-hectare parcel on clay soils in the Corton-Rougets appellation (bought in 2004 as Pinot Noir and re-grafted with Chardonnay the following years.) It has a taciturn bouquet that reveals subtle hazelnut and smoke notes the gain vigor with just a moderate coaxing. The palate is well-balanced with well-judged acidity. There is a spicy seam that becomes more evident with time and a hint of lemongrass on the vibrant finish that fans out with conviction." - Robert Parker
