POY is our top quality and first wine produced. First bottling in 2003. DOC Designation - Designation of Controlled Origin in 2005. 

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Montepulciano 
HARVESTING PERIOD: after the second half of October, winemaking is immediately started. 
VINIFICATION PROCESS: alcohol fermentation in stainless steel casks at controlled temperatures for 21 days and post-fermenation maceration for a further 10-12 days. Malolactic fermentation and aging in oak barriques for 18 months. 
PROPERTIES: Color: rich ruby ​​red, intense perfume. Bouquet: Soft palate, intense and round taste, well-structured and full-bodied. Taste: Typical red fruit and marasca cherry aroma, not dry, not bitter and not astrigent tannins.
