Calicraft Barrel Project Hibiscus-Chamomile Sour
Tea sours combine the intensity of sours with the calm of tea. The base beer is our sour sparkling ale - fermented with a blend of wild wine yeast, brettanomyces, and lactobacillus. Next we add a blend of hibiscus and chamomile teas - creating a refreshingly tart and aromatically complex beer. Notes of bright red fruits, honest and pineapple. Blur the line between beer and wine (and tea!).
