The Cutrer is a rich, complex wine. On the nose, you are greeted with integrated oak notes of caramel, pie crust, apple pie, ripe peach, nectarine, nougat, brown sugar and nutmeg. The mouthfeel is nicely focused with a creamy mid-palate, bright acidity and a long, rich finish. Flavors of warm pie crust, fresh apple and pear are accented with touches of nut, light vanilla and baking spice. Each of Sonoma-Cutrer’s Chardonnays is unique in their flavor characteristics. The Cutrer appeals to wine lovers who enjoy a creamier, rounder Chardonnay with more oak influence.
A bright, lovely layering of cherry and strawberry strikes first, before a jolt of rose perfume finds its complement in an earthy lilt of salt and forest. Sandalwood enhances the intrigue and complexity of this medium-bodied wine.
Russian River Ranches is a cuvée of distinct vineyard lots, each contributing its own personality to the wine. The made is made from the Sonoma Coast appellation, which features diverse soil types and growing conditions perfect for producing exceptional Chardonnay. This vintage blend contains fruit from our six estate vineyards and a small group of carefully selected growers.
This vintage is refreshing and juicy with crisp, zesty flavors of lemon, green apple, barrel spice and lime that dissolve to a light, creamy mid-palate before ending with our signature citrus acidity and long, palate cleansing finish.

Nose: Aromas of freshly baked rye bread, coco powder, orange oil, cinnamon spice, freshly sawn oak and vanilla shine through.
Palate: The palate is powerful, rich and chewy with loads of spices showing their support giving way to a coco powdered finish.
Finish: Very smooth for the proof, but the addition of a few drops of water brings out the more delicate floral aromas from the rye.

In the UK, foraging the wild berries, steeping them in gin, and making the liqueur has been part of rural family tradition for centuries. Our Sloe Gin recipe has been handed down through the Marshall family for generations: we start with our signature gin, which we macerate with sloe berries until the delicious fruit flavor and color have fully released in the gin. This vibrantly-hued liqueur features both bright berry and citrus notes, combining ripe sweetness with fresh acidity.
Traditionally, sloe gin is served after a meal by itself as a digestif, but its unique color and flavor also combine wonderfully with a wide variety of spirits. It is delicious when mixed with everything from whiskey to agave spirits, but is also wonderful with sparkling wine and makes an incredible Sloe Gin Fizz.

**Due to the use of whole fruit, it is normal for some settling to occur**
Our vodka is made from organic, California-grown hard red winter wheat.
Originally created as the base of our gin, we decided to bottle this vodka after many requests during early distillery visits. This spirit is the perfect example of the importance of the grain to glass process. By starting with whole grain, we are able to preserve the distinct wheat characteristics throughout the distillation process.
This vodka displays sweet caramel and warm earthy notes – like the grain itself – and provides a round mouth-feel and extremely smooth finish.
We enjoy it simply on the rocks as a sipping vodka, to really savor the delicious wheat flavor, or add some spice with ginger beer and a squeeze of lime.
This wine exudes power and elegance. Dense and focused with primary, bright, youthful, fresh characters. Plenty of ripe blue and red fruit accompanied by notes of mocha, carob, butterscotch, and toast. Hints of dried herb and rose petal. Long, clean, and fresh, its strong acid backbone is a hallmark of what will be another long-lived, collectible wine. Discernable tannins that are youthful yet lengthy complement the underlying intense fruit. Great texture! All the promise you like to find in a young wine.

"With the lowest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in of any of the wines from this vertical, the 2012 final blend was 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Production across the board in 2012 was high, and reflected in the 3,977 cases made at Spottswoode. This is a dramatic, flamboyant, modern-day version of the 2002. Dramatic blueberry, black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, along with camphor, charcoal, white flowers and foresty notes all emerge from the impressive aromatics that soar from the glass. The intense, explosively rich, full-bodied palate is layered with beautiful purity, stunningly sweet, silky tannins and terrific presence and complexity. This is a gorgeous wine on a relatively fast evolutionary track, I suspect, but certainly it has 30 years of upside left. Drink 2016–2046." Robert Parker, Wine Advocate

#4 on Wine Enthusiast's Cellar Selection List Released this week!
"This remarkable wine from the famed family-farmed, organic estate impresses immediately in its depth of concentration and stately grace, imparting a wealth of rose-garden compost and wild truffle on the nose. Within the vibrant range of sensual flavor is salted caramel, black cherry and chocolate, alongside a twist of saddle and campfire coffee. Its grip of focused tannin suggests years of aging potential; enjoy best from 2023 to 2033."
"Yields continued to increase in 2013, with just over 4,000 cases of wine from a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. This is another killer effort from Spottswoode. Inky bluish purple to the rim, it has hints of violets intermixed with sweet foresty notes, blackcurrants, chocolate and a touch of subtle smoke and earth. It is dense, with higher acidity and more noticeable structure than the 2012, but is as concentrated, dense and promising. Some patience is warranted in 2013, and I would suggest waiting another 5–6 years before pulling the cork on one. It is a 50-year wine at the very minimum and a great classic. Drink 2021–2071." 99+ Points -Robert Parker, Wine Advocate
"This first-growth estate in St. Helena has produced a 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon that is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. It is certainly one of the wines of the vintage. Gorgeously opaque purple, it offers up notes of spring flowers, blueberries, blackcurrants, some baking spice and graphite. It is full-bodied, concentrated and rich, with layers of fruit. The wine builds and builds on the palate, with a great finish of 45+ seconds. This is a sensational 2014 to drink over the next 20+ years." -Robert Parker, Wine Advocate
Fro the vertical tasting: "The last wine in the vertical, the 2014, had been bottled two weeks before I tasted it, and it is the highest production year for Spottswoode (4,922 cases), since the 5,713 cases made in 1992 and the 5,852 produced in 1991. The wine is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. This wine shows oodles of fruit, blackcurrants, blueberries, black raspberries, charcoal, subtle oak and a full-bodied, inky, intense mouthfeel with a boatload of tannin, but the fruit is present to balance it out. This wine needs another several years of bottle age and, while not up to the levels of 2012 and 2013, it is a highly successful effort and capable of lasting 30–35 more years. Drink 2019–2054" -Robert Parker, Wine Advocate

Raw, dynamic, and so expressive! This wine is glowing with personality, vivacity, and youthful exuberance. The palate has a rustic charm and sense of umami carefully balanced with notes of blueberry, blackberry, and resinous pine forest. Beautifully expressive now, the 2016 Estate Cabernet is a wine that will only improve with time in the cellar to integrate and mature into its full epic potential.
"Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is still very tight and youthful, slowly unfurling to reveal a multifaceted wine with tons of black, blue and red fruit sparks—plums, cherries, black currants and red currants—with dark chocolate, cedar chest, black tea and red roses in the background plus wafts of pencil lead and prosciutto. Medium-bodied and firmly textured by superbly ripe, grainy tannins, it has a fantastic core of intense, complex layers, finishing on an edifying mineral note. Wow!"= 100 Points Robert Parker
"A small crop of 1,953 cases and a final blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc emerged from the 2008 vintage, that was known for the damaging fires north of Napa and Sonoma that caused smoke damage to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards in Anderson Valley and sites on the Sonoma Coast. The wine from Spottswoode is pure and rich with deep ruby/purple color, a touch of blackcurrants and floral notes, a medium to full body, slightly chunkier and less profound than the 2007, but still another top-notch effort from this first-growth terroir. It should continue to drink well for another 15–20 years. Drink 2016–2036."-Robert Parker, Wine Advocate

The GlenDronach Allardice 18 Year Old is a fitting tribute to the founder of our distillery. The expression is bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and natural in color.

"The Prisoner was inspired by the “mixed blacks” first made by the Italian immigrants who originally settled in Napa Valley. The Prisoner is now the most recognized Napa Valley red blend, leading the resurgence of interesting blends by incorporating Zinfandel with the unlikely mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Charbono.
Features enticing aromas of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove, and roasted fig. Persistent flavors of ripe raspberry, boysenberry, pomegranate, and vanilla linger harmoniously, for a smooth and luscious finish."

You don’t know what it wants and you’ve underestimated its character. But you can feel it watching your every move. A cunning presence lingers, like a thorn in your side. It isn’t going anywhere.
Earthy aromas open up into cocoa, blackberry, cedar, and anise. It’s smooth with flavors of cherry, chocolate, vanilla, and a mild toastiness. The finish is long with balanced acidity.
Aromas of black cherry, coffee, licorice, and creamy bright fruit. On the palate, chocolate-covered cherries, and hoisin sauce. Elegant, nuanced, texturally plush with velvety tannins
Blend: 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot
The 2018 vintage is the first to include their newest Chardonnay blocks – 2 acres grafted from Pinot Noir to Chardonnay in 2016. A bouquet of orange blossom, jasmine, toasted almonds and lemon zest prepares the palate for beautiful acid and wet stone. This fresh structure is enveloped in a rich texture that balances the linear focus of the wine.
"The 2018 Chardonnay Wayfarer Vineyard opens with explosive perfume! Gunflint, spring honey, white flowers and salted almonds mingle over rich quince paste and warm apple fruit. The palate is equally as compelling, its powerful, rich layers of flavor packed into an ultra silky frame, offering bright pops of juiciness and a finish that goes on forever. Wow! It's stunning now but may improve with more time in bottle." Rating: 98+ Wine Advoate
